Ellen B. Klyce, M.A. | Performance Psychology

llen began her study of psychology at the University of Pennsylvania and received a Masters of Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. She then worked in schools supporting students and faculty and later expanded her experience serving in numerous Bay Area community clinics with adults, couples and victims of crime and domestic violence. During this time she began to study Crisis Incident Stress Debriefing and EMDR which has been proven to successfully treat Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome.

In a clinical setting Ellen began using the same principles and research involved to attain a peak performance in sport with performing artists. Using sport psychology techniques, she saw improvement in clients who struggled with performing at a desired level in business presentations, ceremonies and with academic deadlines.  She started developing SRP theory at this time with a colleague from JFKU.

“Ellen is an excellent diagnostician, a caring therapist and best of all, most of the patients got better.”  - David E. Cohn, MD
